Job Requirement for Business Development Manager:

  • Masters degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or a technology field. Successful related work experience in the IT Consulting Professional Services industry
  • Minimum of 5 years proven outside direct sales experience with focus in consultative and solution oriented sales approaches
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following industries: Information Security, Software Development, IT services solutions or Consulting
  • Experience with premium, complex B2B technical/ IT professional services sales, with sales cycles. Versatile and Dynamic experience with global giants as well as start-ups
  • Demonstrate success at working in a fast-paced, highly-competitive, deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated individual who exhibits a sense of urgency in all sales- and service-related activities
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills. The position requires a strong emphasis on the ability to listen and lead teams
  • Ability to develop account teams with Directors of Information Technology Consultants, and work effectively in team environments
  • Ability to establish and build relationships quickly with global team members as well as within customer accounts

Job Description for Business Development Manager:

  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments. ? Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. ? Build relationships with new clients
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the sales team. ? Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products, services and distribution channels
  • Attend industry functions, such as book fairs and seminars, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Work with image licensing sales teams and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. ? Understand the company’s image stock and secure the rights to new images, libraries and other media that will continually enhance the company’s performance
  • Proven experience in developing account penetration and development strategies, conducting cold calls, qualifying prospects, leading technical directors in sales process and strategy, making sales presentations, closing techniques, and developing service and pricing proposals
